I like to keep our family up-to-date with events and photos from our lives. It makes it seem like we are not hundreds of miles away.
Thank you for visiting our blog. We love seeing your comments!
6 months already?!?! Where did the time go?? With Kaitlyn, I couldn't wait for her to get to the next milestone, with Jacob it creeps up on me! He had his 6 month well check up today, got a few shots, and got the go ahead for starting finger food (like puffs and baby mum mums). The doctor kept saying he looks really good, and said he will start crawling within the next few weeks (after seeing how strong he is).
When he got his shots: he cried after the first poke, but stopped as soon as I picked him up. By the time we got home (5 minute drive), he was fast asleep.
While we were in Michigan, Jacob was extra fussy in the evening. We noticed he was teething, and now he has two pearly whites to show for it :) Look closely on the bottom gums :) You can double click the picture and it should enlarge for better viewing :)
We were back in Stevensville for New Year's Eve. We had the family over for a delicious dinner, played cards, Wii, and watched the ball drop. Kaitlyn, once again, made it beyond midnight. I don't know why... but she was up til 2am! Here's some pictures and videos from our eventful NYE :)

We arrived in Alma the day after Christmas, and so did Uncle Mark, Aunt Megan, Luke and Leah :) It was so much fun to see the kids interact. Then Monday morning, Uncle Tim, Aunt Amy, Hannah and Micah arrived! SIX kids under 3! You would think... utter chaos! But it was so much fun! We had more visitors later that day, Great Grandma Fulkerson and Uncle Mike, Aunt Doris and her sons Jeremy and Jason. It was so nice to see them! Bailey really liked Great Grandma and Jason.

We planned some outings for the kids to be able to get out, and it allowed Moms to recharge too :) One of our outings, all the Moms and Grandma went shopping at Khols for some new outfits for Grandma :) it was fun to have Grandma try on jeans, shirts, and vests. To top it off, we went to lunch :)
Another outing was to the hotel pool. Mike's cousin, Stephen and family, came to Alma to visit (Great) Grandma Fulkerson. It was fun to go to the pool and play. Great Grandma and Grandpa Wood also made the trip to Alma. It was super fun to see everyone!

There's nothing like waking up Christmas morning with snow on the ground, Christmas carols playing, and a breakfast casserole in the oven :) We had our own little Santa too :) It was a wonderful, relaxing Christmas. Great time spent with family and (of course) playing the Wii :)

Happy Grandparents :)
