Summer 2015: This is the beginning of a HUGE project about to begin. SEVEN homes that back up to each other will be replacing our fence at the same time! Things are about to get crazy!

It's Saturday morning, the kids just finished breakfast, and the fence guys are working with the augger digging new holes for the fence posts. When all of a sudden, I get a knock on my BACK door! "Ma'am, we hit the gas line." WHAT???!
Stay calm! Get the kids out front, and notify everyone around! The fence guys did a great job, they had one guy calling the fire department and one knocking on doors to be sure everyone was notified.
The smell of gas was intense! Neighbors were stopping and asking why they smelled gas when they pulled into the neighborhood.
We camped out in the front yard waiting for the "OK" from the fire department to go inside.

Once they got the gas to stop leaking, they were able to tear up our yard to repair the line.

It was so convenient to hang out with the neighbors with the fence down, but it was a challenge with the dogs. Happy to have the fence back!
