September in a nutshell

It's been a while since my last post. The Lions are 3-0, Kaitlyn is loving pre-school, and Jacob is loving time with Mommy! Things are pretty good in our house :)

Our playdate took us to the Zoo twice this month. We had a lot of kids with us. It was so sweet to see them all holding hands :)

Kaitlyn is on the far right

My old tent has become a playhouse :)

Both kids had lots of fun playing inside
While sister is at school, Jacob has all the toys to himself! It's so cute to see him play. He likes to play with the toys at the little table.
puzzle :)

Uh-Oh...got stuck in the baby doll seat.

yay! I don't have to share :)

he kept trying to grab the camera. Got his Tigers shirt on :)

flying boy!

"I ate all my dinner, now I can get a cookie!"

We have a big yard, and only ONE little tree. We have been talking about adding more this year, and here's a start. Grandma and Grandpa Fulkerson brought three baby maple trees for us to plant. We will see how they do.... Thanks for the trees!
Daddy stand proud after he plants our little trees. Can you see them????

hehehe, messy boy!

Jacob found sister's sunglasses.... cool shades.

my sweet and crazy girl :)
I put a toddler fork down on Jacob's plate just to see what he would do with it. I was quite impressed! He is so proud :)

Grasshopper

This is the second time we had a grasshopper sit on our window long enough for Kaitlyn to have a conversation with it. This time, I grabbed my camera :)

Ready for football

Our house is BURSTING at the seams ready for football season. Having college games on all weekend was a joyous sound of fall!!! :) The real excitement is coming from NFL starting this weekend!!! Of course, to celebrate any occasion... I have to bake a CAKE!

the kick is good!

in order to make one football... i had to make a BUNCH :)

even Jacob is ready for some Lions football :)

First day of pre-school

Hard to believe... Kaitlyn is going to pre-school! Her first day was August 29, and she did great! She goes to "school" at our church from 9:30am to 2:30pm, which mean she gets to take a lunch box to school. Kaitlyn picked out an Ariel lunchbox, and she is excited to carry it!

The first day of school was a busy morning. Mommy had to get herself and two kids ready and fed, AND pack a lunch for school all by 9:15am. I know to most... that sounds pretty late.... but when you're a stay-at-home mom, and you really have nowhere to be in the morning... that's a task!

excited for preschool!
When we got there, she ask, "Do you have to go, Mommy?" (I think she could sense from another child that this wasn't just ordinary Sunday school). I told her she would have lots of fun with her friends, and got her playing with playdough while I snuck out. When I picked her up, she had a note that said, "My first day of preschool was great!" When I dropped her off Wednesday, she walked right in and started to play. What a big girl!!! :)

Just another day

Every now and then, Kaitlyn's little hands gets my camera. She's getting good at taking pictures.

happy girl :)

Sprinkler

Kaitlyn loves to run through the sprinkler. We couldn't let her have all the fun, so we put Jacob in the line of sprinkles on the sidewalk to see if he liked it too. Every time he got wet, he would do a silly shiver. It's so cute!

little boy is a little wet :)
