Cousin fun!

We have our cousins, Luke and Leah, and Uncle Mark and Aunt Megan visiting us this week. AND it's also our VBS week! It's been so much fun having our cousins attend our VBS with us, and it's been a special treat for me to have Aunt Megan as my teaching assistant in my 2nd grade class :) She's been a BIG blessing!

THUNDERED UP!

Today I took the kids downtown to the Miriad Gardens, which is across the street from the basketball arena. If you're not big with the NBA... then I'll bring you up to speed.... OKC's TEAM IS IN THE FINALS!!!!! The winner of this 7 game series is the Champion! This house is THUNDER CRAZY! Kaitlyn is even pointing out a shade of blue as "Thunder blue" on everything she sees!! haha!!

We got a GREAT parking spot, and walked around the garden, found the mini sprayground, and then walked over to Thunder Alley (the one block in front of the arena they block off on game days for kid games and activities). There were already A LOT of people there. I think the kids enjoyed their afternoon :)

Hilton Head Island

We had a very special Memorial weekend. We had a family vacation with Grandma and Grandpa Van and Auntie. Can you tell if we had fun??

 We landed in Charleston, we rented a minivan for the two and half hour drive to the Island. I think we need to consider a minivan for our next vehicle.... oh the SPACE, doors that open when you push a button, dual climate control.... oh wait... this is about the vacation... not the minivan ;) moving on.
