Camping in Michigan

The kids and I (at 30 weeks pregnant) flew to Michigan to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Van. We started our Michigan time going camping! (I mean "glamping")

 We decorated the camper for a surprise Father's Day (a week early). Grandpa was surprised, because his birthday was 3 days before Father's Day.

Couldn't have asked for a better (step) Dad!

No one had fun swimming... :)

Marathon Runners

So this is from the end of April.... But I had to post :) Mike and my stepmom ran the OKC half marathon!

 Here's Debi crossing the finish line! She finished 1st in her age group even after a 2 hour rain delay!

 Here comes Daddy! Proud of him!

Kaitlyn wants to do the "kid race" next year so she can get a medal. She asked me yesterday (4 months after the race) if she missed the kid race. I told her no, it's not until next year. This girl will do anything for a medal or trophy. :)
