Kaitlyn is really becoming quite the problem solver. I had to move the VCR/DVD to the top shelf on the entertainment center (hidden behind glass doors). Every "baby proofing" item we would use to keep her from messing with it, she would figure out how to take it off! We had a Velcro shield, which she figured out how to take off, so Mike put tape on the shield so she would not pull it off... she'd just pull the tape off, and then take off the shield.
She has also started to realize she can climb. She can't quite climb onto the couch by herself, so daddy will give her a boost with his foot. One night, daddy was not there to help, so she grabbed a toy basket from the other side of the room, flipped it over to use it as a step to get on the couch. Clever!
Kaitlyn has called... Grandma Van a few times, (my friend) Rachel (a few times), but more recently she's called- 555555555555555555555... she doesn't like to leave a message.
These two videos were taken today after church. She is really walking a lot more now, and falls down here and there. I think Kaitlyn is realizing that walking is much faster than crawling. I have noticed this past week that her walking speed is increasing!
She may be small (17.5 pounds, 5%, and 28 in, 10- 25%), but she is quick!
