What a weekend! It all started with us getting the house ready for a big birthday party. I got everything ready the day before so there wasn't much to do on Friday but relax and wait for the party to start. Grandma and Grandpa Van flew in for the weekend to celebrate with us! They helped us get all the last details ready for the party. 6pm the guests started to arrive :)

On Saturday, Jacob's actual birthday, we had a family day at the water park, Whitewater Bay. We have never been there, but have only heard wonderful things about it from friends. We did expect it to be a little busy, being that it was a Saturday and the temperature was to be over 100 degrees. Come to find out, it was 111 when we left the park at 3pm!! We knew it was hot, but WOW!!! That's HOT!

It may have been a busy weekend, but it was sure a lot of fun!! Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for all your help with the party, and a fun day at the water park! Happy Birthday to my little man, Jacob!
