Christmas Eve my mom's side of the family all gets together after our candle light Christmas Eve service at The Chapel. For the first time, we gathered together at my mom's. Oma and Opa's (my grandparents) house is getting too small for all of us (we are starting to multiply). We did have quite a housefull (Oma and Opa, Gma and Gpa Van, Aunt Alli, my Aunt Sheryl and Uncle Ed, my cousin Bobbi and Rick and their 3 kids, Josh, Joey, and MaKayla, Alli's friend Holly, and the three of us, and three dogs)!
The kids all got one BIG gift from everyone. Kaitlyn got a music table with all sorts of songs and instruments. MaKayla got a mini-kitchen and Kaitlyn helped her "cook" something.

Kaitlyn is already in her jammies, it's past her bedtime!After all the gifts were open we ended the evening as we always do... play CARDS! All the adults gather around the dining room table for a good game of "Oh Shaw." Mike seems to win at least one game every time!
Christmas morning we opened presents at 9am. Great Gma Van came over to see Kaitlyn and enjoy our brunch. We had a very tastey Ham and coffee cake, mmmmmm. Kaitlyn seemed to be more interested in the bows on the presents!
